Date Published: 11/07/2016 Desc: Pure Noni Juice Notes: The product appears to be misbranded within the meaning of: Section 403(a)(1) of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 343(a)(1)] in that the product label is false and misleading. The product label includes the statement "100% natural herb tea" on a juice product with the statement of identity "Noni Juice" and therefore appears to be a false statement. Section 403(f) of the Act [21 U.S.C. §343(f)] in that it contains information in other languages; therefore, all required information must be in each language (i.e., the English language as well as the foreign languages). Section 403(e)(2) of the Act [21 U.S.C. §343(e)(2)] in that it fails to bear an accurate statement of the net quantity of contents in terms of weight, measure, or numerical count as required by 21 CFR 101.105. The net quantity of content statement only includes the metric. Section 403(q) of the Act [21 U.S.C. §343(q)] in that the nutrition information (e.g. Nutrition Facts Panel) does not include all information, as required by 21 CFR 101.9(b).
