What changed — FDA import alert red lists: firms subject to detention without physical examination

The change history of FDA import alert red lists: firms subject to detention without physical examination: Which foreign manufacturers, shippers and growers are on an FDA import alert red list, meaning every shipment from them is detained without physical examination (DWPE) at the US border. Each record is one firm on one import alert, with the firm name and address as FDA prints it, the country, the date FDA published the listing, and the product codes and product descriptions it covers. Answers 'is my supplier on an FDA import alert', 'is [firm] on the red list for import alert 66-41', 'why was my shipment detained without examination', 'which firms are on the FDA red list for undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients in supplements', and 'how do I check a Chinese manufacturer before ordering'. FDA publishes 153 separate import alerts as individual current-state pages with no cross-alert firm index, so answering 'is this firm flagged anywhere' means opening 153 pages; and firms are removed from red lists on petition with no record of the removal published at all, so an assistant answering from memory names firms that were delisted years ago.

Since the initial snapshot of 2026-08-06, this register has changed on 20 further dates. This register is re-checked against its sources on a schedule; a date appears below only when records were added or their values changed, so a quiet stretch means the register itself was quiet, not that nobody looked.

We keep the current verified state of each record, not the value it replaced — so each entry says which records changed and what they now state, never what they said before. Machine subscribers: poll changes.xml (Atom) or changes.json instead of re-fetching the dataset.
