The exchange rate is fixed at EUR 1 = BGN 1.95583 Bulgarian Lev (BGN) and Euro (EUR) will be used during the parallel circulation period from 01.01.2026 to 31.01.2026 inclusive. The period of mandatory dual price display lasts from 08.08.2025 to 08.08.2026. As of 01.01.2026, Bulgarian Lev should be listed as the old/historic currency of Bulgaria.
