Power boilers and high-temperature water boilers shall receive a certificate inspection annually. Such boilers where construction permits shall also receive an internal inspection annually, or when the inspector deems necessary. The internal inspection frequency may be extended to triennially with prior approval from the Boiler Division. Low-pressure heating boilers, water heaters, and direct-fired jacketed steam kettles shall receive a certificate inspection biennially. This inspection may be either external or internal.
